ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join a hybrid delivery context in Lisbon, supporting reporting and business intelligence initiatives in the financial services sector. The role focuses on end-to-end Power BI development, data modeling, dashboard design and performance optimization to enable reliable and actionable insights.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.
• Take ownership of reporting initiatives from requirements analysis to delivery.
• Build and optimize data models, including star schemas, relationships, measures and reusable structures.
• Develop advanced calculations using DAX.
• Transform and prepare data using Power Query.
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability and reliability of reports and datasets.
• Apply data visualization best practices, including user experience, storytelling and business readability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across reporting solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboards, data models and refresh processes.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of BI standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 6 to 9 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end BI solutions with autonomy.
• Experience with Power BI performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with data governance and security concepts, including Row-Level Security.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 20 000 - EUR 40 000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 55 000/year
