We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering organization building cutting-edge cloud-native solutions focused on real-time data processing, scalability, reliability, and platform evolution. About the Role

The Platform Engineering Compute team is responsible for the cloud platform architecture that powers both customer-facing services and internal developer platforms. In this role, you will own critical areas of the platform, contribute to strategic technical decisions, and help drive large-scale modernization and migration initiatives.

We are looking for someone with strong engineering maturity, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset — someone capable of understanding complex distributed systems, identifying root causes, and designing scalable long-term solutions.

Experience with infrastructure or platform migrations is highly valued, especially involving Kubernetes, cloud-native environments, CI/CD modernization, or legacy-to-cloud transitions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes Operators and platform services
• Lead and support cloud infrastructure modernization and migration initiatives
• Develop cloud-native systems using Go or similar programming languages
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency
• Automate infrastructure operations, incident response, and self-healing capabilities
• Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using tools such as FluxCD or Argo CD
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments using tools such as Terraform or Crossplane
• Support platform lifecycle management, including monitoring, backup, configuration, security, and cost optimization
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption
• Work with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and operational workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• Solid engineering fundamentals and strong logical/problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand complex technical problems and design scalable solutions
• Proven experience working on infrastructure, cloud, or platform migration projects
• Strong programming skills in Go, Java, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation practices
• Strong ownership mindset, autonomy, and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience developing Kubernetes Operators
• Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems
• Certifications in Kubernetes or Cloud technologies
• Familiarity with AI-augmented development tools and workflows
• Experience with cloud-native platform architecture and modernization strategies
