We’re looking for an Oracle DBA to join our team in Lisbon, supporting high-volume digital platforms used by global clients.

This role focuses on ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of critical Oracle database environments.

You will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, playing a key role in maintaining and optimizing database operations that support large-scale digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Oracle Database environments, ensuring high availability and reliability

• Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases across development, testing, and production environments

• Monitor and tune database performance to optimize operations

• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and incidents

• Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations between Oracle versions

• Support database migrations between Oracle and other database platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL)

• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures using RMAN and related tools

• Monitor database health using Oracle monitoring tools and scripts

• Work closely with development teams to optimize SQL queries and database structures

• Implement best practices for security, access management, and data integrity

• Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of database administration processes

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration

• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database optimization

• Experience with database migrations and upgrades

• Familiarity with RMAN backup and recovery procedures

• Ability to collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams
