We are currently looking for a Solution Architect to join a strategic initiative within the Energy & Utilities sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and evolving application architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements, enterprise standards, and integration ecosystems.

You will play a key role in translating business needs into scalable and secure architectural solutions, working closely with stakeholders across functional and technical teams. The position is focused on architecture design and governance, rather than hands-on development.

Requisitos

Profile & Skills

  • Up to 10 years of experience in similar roles
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in collaborative and international environments
  • Commitment to quality and delivery
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence (valued)
  • Experience in project environments (valued)
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR (valued)
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); Portuguese and Spanish are valued
  • Architecture certifications (Microsoft, Cloud, or similar) are a plus

Architecture & Technical Experience

  • Experience as a Solution Architect focused on application design (non-development role)
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and align them with enterprise architecture standards
  • Solid understanding of application and solution architecture principles
  • Experience in documenting architecture and ensuring governance compliance
  • Ability to clearly communicate architectural and security guidelines and influence adoption
  • Knowledge of integration platforms, standards, and market trends
  • Experience in API design and specification
  • Knowledge of IS-U / Utilities business processes (valued)
  • Knowledge of Energy Data Management (valued)
  • Experience with SAP ecosystems (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP IS-U)
  • Technical background in software application design (valued)
