Who are we looking for? Java & ActiveViam Developer

Main tasks:

• Development and maintenance of solutions using Java/J2EE and Python.
• Development and support of solutions in ActiveViam.
• Work with analytical databases and OLAP Cubes.
• Development and execution of Unix Shell Scripting.
• Participation in solutions related to Market Risk, including sensitivity calculations, VaR (Value at Risk) and Stress Tests.
• Collaboration with technical teams in the evolution and maintenance of solutions.

Required Knowledge:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Developer, with experience in Java and Python.
• Solid experience in J2EE / Java Platform Enterprise Edition.
• Experience with Unix Shell Scripting.
• Professional experience with the ActiveViam.
• Experience with analytical databases and OLAP Cubes (Online Analytical Processing).
• Knowledge of Market Risk, namely
• Sensitivities and VaR (Value at Risk).
• Minimum English B2.
• Minimum Spanish B2.
• Residence in Portugal or Spain.

Desired Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Stress Testing in the context of Market Risk.
• Experience in projects in the financial/banking sector.
• Analytical capacity and ease of working with highly complex technical and functional solutions.
