Associate Platform Engineer - Network

The Platform Network team is responsible for the overall network architecture that supports the Feedzai Cloud delivered to both our customers and internal developers. As part of this team you'll collaborate with other platform engineers who have deep expertise in our cloud products and environments.

Your Day to Day:

• Help maintain and extend Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) network modules and components, including the Network Hub (VPCs, Transit Gateway routing, peering).
• Support the design and implementation of cloud network infrastructure and connectivity across providers.
• Help implement network solutions that keep connections authorized, authenticated, and auditable.
• Monitor network performance, assist in troubleshooting, and help ensure reliability and compliance with SLAs.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes Operators with the team, including deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Contribute to development tasks using Go or similar programming languages.
• Automate aspects of cloud infrastructure and incident response; participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Work with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Cursor) as part of your daily workflow to ship faster and iterate effectively.

You Have & You Know-How:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Programming skills in languages such as Go, Java, or similar.
• Familiarity or interest in networking concepts: VPCs, VNets, VPNs, routing, and cloud network design.
• Hands-on experience or strong learning ability with container technologies and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab) and GitOps tools (e.g. FluxCD, Argo CD).
• Knowledge or experience working with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge or experience with monitoring and observability (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus).
• Knowledge or experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Crossplane).
• Self-driven, motivated, with a strong work ethic, and a passion for learning and creative problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfort with AI-augmented development tools (e.g. Cursor) and willingness to adopt new tooling.
• Kubernetes, Cloud, CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications are valued.
