QA Engineer

Dellent is a consulting company focused on Information Systems and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.

In this project, you will have contact with the European stock market and will be able to work for a leading global trading platform that understands the importance of surveillance issues. Although its development center is located in Porto and all administrative support is in Lisbon, you will be part of a multicultural team spread across several European cities.

We are looking for a QA Engineer to work on a project in Porto (hybrid model).

Requirements:

- More than 5 years of practical experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and in the software testing life cycle (STLC);

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience;

- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla or Azure DevOps) and experience in software testing for SAAS, Web and Mobile applications;

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger or SOAP UI);

- Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation;

- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing;

- Experience with test automation concepts will be a plus (even if primarily a manual QA);

- Exposure to CI/CD environments and collaboration tools like Git, Jenkins or Docker is beneficial;

- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams;

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, willing to go the extra mile;

- Ability to work under pressure, work independently and also be a team player, particularly across different locations and time zones;

- English level: B2.
