Join our team as a Java Backend Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Implement and optimize microservices and modular architectures.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure strong database integration, query optimization, and data integrity.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sprint goals on time.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure applications follow best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Java 8+ development.
• Solid knowledge of RDBMS technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Understanding of application architectures (Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in API design and RESTful services.
• Experience working with AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Previous experience in an Agile environment using Scrum.
• Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
