Join our team as an Azure Cloud Automation Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate Azure resources supporting Microsoft Fabric environments, including Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI, and Lakehouse.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize reusable Terraform modules and automation templates for scalable infrastructure deployments.
• Integrate infrastructure automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with architecture, cloud, and data teams to validate infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
• Ensure cloud environments follow security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization best practices.
• Automate operational and configuration management tasks using PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks, priorities, and delivery activities through Jira.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Support infrastructure analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives across Azure environments.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience automating Azure infrastructure for data and analytics platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Solid scripting knowledge with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience integrating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture and related Azure infrastructure services.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, monitoring, and security concepts.
• Experience working within Agile teams and using Jira for project and task management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• AZ-900 certification is mandatory.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B1).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
