Description:

We are looking for a Senior SRE to lead technical efforts in digital transformation projects for Lifescan. We seek a proactive and autonomous professional who acts as a technical reference, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Your Mission:

To design and implement scalable, highly available, and resilient infrastructure on AWS. You will lead the implementation of advanced observability frameworks, define SLIs/SLOs, and act as a technical lead during critical incidents. You will collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, providing guidance on best practices and complex architectural decisions.

You need to have experience with:

• Advanced AWS Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS major services, including EC2, VPC, ELB, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudwatch and data storage.
• Orchestration and Containers: Practical knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift) and Docker.
• Production Support: Large experience supporting production environments, including deployments and troubleshooting and incident management best practices.
• Advanced Infrastructure as Code: Strong proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Distributed Systems: Broad understanding of complex distributed architectures and microservices.
• Advanced Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for complex automation.
• Observability Leadership: Designing enterprise-grade monitoring and logging solutions (ELK, Grafana, Datadog, Site24x7, Cloudwatch).
• English: Advanced or Fluent for interacting with global teams and stakeholders.

You will stand out if you have:

• Familiarity with Generative AI
• Experience with build and release processes for mobile apps (Apple/Google stores).
• Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices and DevSecOps.
• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or similar.
• Experience in a regulated Healthcare environment (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Experience with CI/CD, designing and maintaining complex automated pipelines using Jenkins.
