Job Title: Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Architect and build robust, scalable data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and automated data pipelines to support analytics and AI initiatives

- Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and readiness for BI and reporting purposes

- Continuously monitor and fine-tune data system performance to guarantee fast, reliable access for analysis

- Work closely with BI teams to understand data needs and design structures that maximize usability and insight generation

- Aggregate and harmonize data across multiple platforms, enabling actionable intelligence and advanced analytics

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field

- Experience in data modeling and structuring complex datasets for analytical use

- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and Java FX Script to manipulate, automate, and process data

- Analytical and strategic thinker, capable of contributing to a high-performance AI knowledge hub

- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively
