What will you do?

• Design, build, and operate highly available MariaDB clusters, ensuring stability, scalability, and security of the database platform.
• Develop and maintain robust backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability strategies for critical real-time systems.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries, database performance, and system scalability.
• Automate database and infrastructure operations using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Support development teams with database architecture, data modeling, and integration topics.
• Implement and improve database security, compliance, and encryption standards.

What are we looking for?

At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience administering MariaDB in highly available production environments.
• Strong expertise in SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Experience with at least one additional relational database system, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Good scripting and automation skills using languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation of operational processes.
• Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and high-availability concepts.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation, and daily commitment are highly appreciated.
