What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Backup/Storage Administrator, with a strong focus on enterprise backup solutions;
- Deep expertise in IBM Storage Protect (TSM – Tivoli Storage Manager) for managing and administering complex backup environments;
- Proficiency in AIX & Linux (Power) operating systems;
- Solid experience with DB2 database (TSM backend) and SQL scripting;
- Strong scripting skills in Shell (bash/ksh) and Python for automation;
- Experience with tape libraries, media management, backup protocols (S3, NDMP), RMAN / TDP tools, and VMware backup solutions (Storage Protect for VE);
- Ability to ensure reliability, integrity, and recoverability of data, aligned with retention and compliance policies, including on-call support;
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a production environment;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to train internal stakeholders;
- Fluency in English (B2-C1);
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 times a week on-site in Lisbon – Parque das Nações);
- Portuguese or foreign work permit for Portugal is required.
