Solution architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect to define and design end-to-end technology architectures across complex systems.

In this role, you will ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with both business objectives and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into clear technical architectures and solution designs.
• Define end-to-end architectures covering applications, data, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Design systems using modern architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.
• Ensure solutions are built with scalability, resilience, and maintainability in mind.
• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, including high-level designs (HLDs), component and system diagrams, and architecture decision records (ADRs).
• Use standard modelling approaches such as ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, or C4.
• Define data models, integration strategies, and API architectures.
• Ensure security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles are embedded in all solutions.
• Provide continuous technical guidance to delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or architecture roles.
• Strong experience designing distributed systems, cloud-based solutions, and system integrations.
• Proven expertise with microservices, APIs, event-driven, or service-oriented architectures (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of security, identity frameworks, and data governance principles.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
• EU Citizenship (mandatory).

Nice-to-have

• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
• Experience working in the Public Sector.
