This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Senior / Lead Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative, data-driven solutions in a research-oriented environment.
In this role, you will work on complex systems involving real-time data processing, machine learning pipelines, and hardware-software integration. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable solutions, while also providing technical leadership and contributing to R&D initiatives.
The role combines backend development, data engineering, and AI/ML expertise, with a strong focus on real-time systems and full-stack development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain systems for:
- Real-time signal processing
- Data pipelines and ML workflows
- Build and integrate solutions involving hardware and software components
- Design and develop full-stack applications connected to data acquisition systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in R&D contexts
- Contribute to technical decision-making and architecture design
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Support experimentation and prototyping in ambiguous environments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with Machine Learning / AI
- Experience with Real-time systems
- Hands-on experience with backend development:
- Node.js
- APIs
- WebSockets
- MQTT
- Experience with modern development stacks:
- TensorFlow
- TypeScript
- Next.js
- Docker
- Ability to work in ambiguous, experimental, and R&D-driven environments
- Proven ability to take technical ownership and provide leadership
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in English
