Senior .net developer / architect

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of applications.

Communication with team and stakeholders will be in Portuguese and English, and the team is gathering twice a week in Porto.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6+.
• Implement best practices for clean code, performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure seamless integrations with external systems and APIs.
• Optimize database queries and data models to ensure reliability and high performance.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Support continuous improvement by researching new technologies and proposing improvements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET technologies (Framework, Core, .NET 6+).
• Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and RESTful services.
• Experience with C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines) will be a plus.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles (e.g., microservices).
• Fluency in English.
