Discover how AI is changing work, technology and software development, and what remains uniquely human.
Technology for Life. AI for what’s next.
This October, we’re heading to Bosch Portugal for an evening exploring how AI is changing the way we work, build, and create value, and perhaps more importantly, what remains uniquely human in an AI powered world.
From questioning the role of people when AI can increasingly do the work for us, to stepping outside traditional SAP tools and discovering what happens when AI can interact directly with our development workflows, this event brings together people, technology, and practical experiences to explore what comes next.
Bosch Portugal develops and produces “Technology for Life” from its locations in Aveiro, Braga and Ovar, with a purpose: to improve people’s quality of life and protect the environment. These locations are part of Bosch’s Home Comfort, Mobility Solutions and Building Technologies areas.
In Lisbon, Bosch is also home to its headquarters in Portugal, alongside a subsidiary of BSH Home Appliances. From here, specialised teams support areas including sales, commercial and marketing, communications services, and shared Human Resources services.
Join us on 13th October from 18:30 to 20:00 for two talks that look at AI from different perspectives, from the human side of work and recognition in Tech to the practical possibilities of AI powered software development.
Priscila Oliveira, Scrum Master, Bosch Portugal
“If AI Can Do It All, What’s Our Role?”
If AI helps us get things done faster, perhaps the real question is no longer what technology can do, but rather who creates the context, trust and direction that allow that work to have an impact.
And is this contribution, so often invisible, recognised in the same way when we talk about women in Tech?
Amanda Protasio, SAP Fiori Tech Lead, VW Group Digital Solutions
“Breaking the SAP Bubble: AI Tools for SAP Developers”
What happens when SAP developers step outside the SAP AI toolbox?
Amanda will explore how generic AI tools can transform everyday SAP development, from building Fiori, CAP and ABAP applications to analysing Jira incidents, troubleshooting Fiori errors and testing applications with browser automation.
Using real world examples with AI agents, MCPs and developer tools, we’ll go beyond AI generated code and explore what happens when AI can actually interact with the tools developers use every day.
No SAP AI products required, just a different way of thinking about AI powered development.
Date: Tuesday, 13th October
Time: 18:30 to 20:00
Location: Robert Bosch, S.A. Av. Infante Dom Henrique Lote 2 E 3 E, 1800 220 Lisboa
Come with your curiosity, your questions, and your perspective.
Because as AI changes what technology can do, we also need to rethink what we can do with it.
