In close collaboration with development, the goal is to deliver incredible experiences that enhance both enjoyment and intuitive gameplay.

Carolina Brás - Engineering Beyond the Code: How Great Gaming Software Is Built (Software Engineer at Arkadium)

Building great gaming software requires more than technical expertise. It begins with clean, readable code, written with the team and its future in mind, and extends to the practices that keep a product stable as it evolves. But beyond that, equally important are the skills that live outside the code: communication, leadership, sensibility, and a clear understanding of the product and the people involved.
