Douro Horizons – Lands of Innovation and Connections is a meeting for entrepreneurs, innovators, and professionals from all areas who wish to explore new ideas, share experiences, and create collaborative opportunities.

In this edition, we will have an inspiring talk from Dr. Jörg Hölzing, Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Qnomx AG, who will share insights on innovation in the healthcare sector and leadership experiences.

At Qnomx, the team led by Dr. Hölzing is transforming the interpretation of genomic cancer data to optimize the selection of therapies in oncology. Through the QNOMX platform, they are empowering laboratories to automate the final analysis of genomic profiles, making the genetic testing process more efficient, reducing costs, and accelerating clinical decision-making—with the goal of improving the quality and timing of therapeutic decisions.

Before founding Qnomx AG, Dr. Jörg Hölzing held several leadership positions at Roche, including that of Senior Vice President, responsible for global business strategy, new product development, and global partnerships of the Roche Diabetes Care division, as well as serving as an advisor to various startups and venture capital funds.

After the talk, participants are invited to a networking dinner, promoting the exchange of ideas and meaningful connections among those present. This event is a unique opportunity to learn, get inspired, and connect with other innovative professionals in the heart of the Douro Valley.
