Liliana Antão, Rita Mendes, and Filipe Delgado will show us how AI is (or isn't) changing the productivity of their teams.
🗓 May 28 | 🎙️ With Liliana Antão (Data Scientist), Rita Mendes (People Manager), and Filipe Delgado (Product Owner & Engineering Manager) | 🎟️ Free | 🍕 Coffee break at the end
Is AI just hype or is it already changing the way we work?
This seventh edition will be a conversation about the real role of Artificial Intelligence at work: where it is already adding value, where it is still more promise than practice, and what impact it is having in different areas. The event is free, so sign up and secure your spot!
We will have three guests from different fields who will share experiences, perspectives, and practical cases on how AI is entering their processes, teams, and decisions:
Liliana Antão
Data Scientist | Co-Founder @ Medtiles | PhD Student @ FEUP | Tutor @ Tekne School Learning
With the talk “From Prompt to Action - Building AI Agents That Actually Work”, Liliana will explore the evolution from AI that responds to AI that acts, addressing agent systems, design patterns, tools, memory, common failures, and what is truly necessary to build agents that work beyond the demo.
Rita Mendes
People Manager @ Present Technologies | Co-Founder People Centered Conference
Rita will bring a people-centered perspective with the topic “AI in HR: The Wingman, not the Captain!”. She will explore AI as a strategic ally to simplify the complex and free up space for what remains deeply human: creativity, empathy, well-being, and talent development.
Filipe Delgado
Product Owner & Engineering Manager @ Altice Labs | CSPO®
Filipe brings us the topic: “Copilot or Autopilot? AI Across the Software Engineering Lifecycle”. Based on his experience at Altice Labs, this talk explores what worked, what didn't, what continues to not work, and what it means, in practice, to keep the human being in the pilot's seat.
At the end of the talks, we will have a round table to cross ideas, ask questions, and discuss whether AI at work is truly a help or still too much hype.
And of course, we will finish with a coffee break with pizzas to continue the conversation in a more relaxed manner.
