Experts and institutions come together to discuss the current challenges of digital information management and preservation.
Four years after the first edition, the National Meeting on Digital Preservation returns to its roots to take stock of the progress made and, above all, to look to the future.
The 2nd National Meeting on Digital Preservation gathers experts and institutions to discuss the current challenges of information management and the safeguarding of digital heritage. In a constantly changing technological and regulatory ecosystem, long-term preservation takes on an increasingly relevant role in ensuring compliance with legal requirements, business continuity, organizational memory, and the enhancement of informational heritage.
The event's program is structured into four thematic blocks, including legislation and regulations, the development of Digital Preservation Plans in the municipal context, the presentation of Digital Preservation Services, and interoperability solutions for preservation in common business management systems in local government.
More than just presenting technological solutions or discussing principles, this meeting aims to share the experiences of those who are on the path, understand the results achieved, and realize what still needs to be done. It will be a space for meeting, debate, and exchange of experiences among the various stakeholders in the sector, contributing to an increasingly solid, sustainable, and interoperable approach to digital preservation.
