For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

- Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend development

- Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and collaborating with multiple teams to align on architectural and design decisions

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns

- Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD / Shift-Left approach)

- Proficiency with Git and working in CI/CD pipelines

- Strong experience with Spring Boot and other backend frameworks commonly used in Java-based systems

- Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code

- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka

- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration

- Familiarity with GraphQL Federation

- Knowledge of Azure Cloud services and deployments

- Experience with OpenTelemetry (OTEL) for observability and distributed tracing

Fluency in English, at least a B2
