We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced test engineer/analyst to join us and play a key role in the development of our existing and new products, using the latest technology. Collaboration is essential, which is why this is an in-person role; you need to have access to all the end equipment on site, something that cannot be done remotely.
You will work alongside VITEC developers who keep the IPTV platform at the forefront of video streaming technology. Seamless integration with IP video solutions allows live TV and video to be quickly incorporated into impactful digital signage screens that engage, inform, and entertain. VITEC's IPTV platforms offer strong video streaming capabilities with minimal maintenance costs.
We are an international company, English is our main language, so it is essential that you can read, speak, and write technically in English.
About the Role:
As a test engineer/analyst, you will bring your valuable experience to our established R&D team. Working in an Agile environment, you will be involved in the end-to-end testing process.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases
- Identify, report, classify, and retest defects
- Collaborate within a cross-functional development team (working closely with developers to understand product requirements and functionalities)
- Manage the test environment
- Documentation and reporting
- Ability to follow SDLC processes
- Customer-focused testing
- Static and dynamic testing methodologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process
About You:
You will have -
- Experience in manual testing
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to create test documentation
- Problem-solving ability, along with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Always willing to develop, learn, and improve
- A good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and processes
It is also desirable to have
- Knowledge of test automation
- Knowledge of non-functional testing
Additionally, we use Jira, Zephyr Scale, and Aha! Therefore, knowledge of these programs will be an advantage, but not essential. We offer the ISTQB Foundation qualification (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) if you do not already have it.
