Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our software products meet high standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with our development teams, helping to identify issues, create and execute test cases, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our testing processes.
This is a full-time position in our office in Maia, Portugal.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that the software is aligned with design specifications and functional requirements, actively investigating and reproducing reported defects to promote continuous improvements;
- Test and debug software to identify and report bugs and issues;
- Assist senior QA team members in creating and implementing test plans and strategies to ensure high-quality software in our products;
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in testing methodologies and tools;
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test cases;
- Execute all tasks within quality standards, environmental, health and safety regulations, following established rules in specific procedures applicable to this role.
Essential Requirements
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of Scripting/Programming.
- Attention to Detail - the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies in software behavior.
- Understanding of Testing Principles - familiarity with manual testing techniques, bug life cycles, and quality standards.
- Collaboration Skills - comfortable working closely with developers and QA colleagues.
- Clear Documentation Skills - the ability to write test cases, log bugs clearly, and maintain testing documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English.

- Experience with Test Management Platforms.
- Fluency in additional languages.
