Description
The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage a software development team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Coordinate software engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Develop technical strategies and solutions to meet business needs in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Monitor team performance and provide mentorship to enhance skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development with organizational objectives.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in software engineering and development processes.
- Oversee resource allocation and budget management for ongoing and future projects.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate them into the development lifecycle when appropriate.
Profile
A successful Software Engineering Manager should have:
- Willing to work in an Industrial/Manufacturing Setting.
- Proven experience in software architecture/software engineering management roles or IT product owner.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and tools oriented to embedded software/desktop development.
- Skilled in C++ Development and GIT;
- Leadership and team management skills within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application to product development.
- Fluent in English; Portuguese knowledge is a plus.
