Job Title: SAP HANA Developer

Location: Lisbon/Braga/Coimbra, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time and Remote (1x office per week)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a SAP HANA Cloud Data Modeler to join our team! The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud native development.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Design and develop efficient and scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud using Calculation Views and SQLScript.

- Collaborate with finance and supply chain stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Optimize data models for performance, security, and reusability.

- Ensure models are well-documented, version-controlled, and adhere to best practices.

- Work with functional consultants to validate data accuracy and business alignment.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud.

- Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, Table Functions, Stored Procedures and scheduler jobs.

- Solid understanding of SAP ERP data structures in one or more areas; production planning, material management, sales and distribution, plant maintenance and financial planning.

- Familiarity with data modeling principles, performance optimization, and analytic privileges.

- Ability to work in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), SAP HANA Database Explorer.

- Experience using Git-based source code management tools for version control and collaboration (Bitbucket).

- Familiar with automated deployment pipelines for promoting changes across environments (Jenkins).

- Good communication skills to work with both business users and technical teams.

- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies.

Complementary Requirements:

- Experience with CDS views.

- Knowledge of Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and OData services for exposing data.

- Familiarity with developing and integrating SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications.

- Create infolinks and reports on Tibco Spotfire.

- Exposure to SDI/SDA for data replication or virtualization.

- Experience with migration to S/4HANA ERP systems.
