Job Title: Data Migration Consultant (BODS)

Location: Lisbon/Braga/Coimbra, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (1x office per week)

Overview / Summary:

We are looking for a Data Migration Consultant (BODS) to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and compliance of an organization's data assets. Your day-to-day activities will include designing and implementing data strategies, ensuring data integrity, and enforcing governance policies. You will establish protocols to handle data, safeguard sensitive information, and optimize data usage within the organization. Additionally, you will design and advise on data quality rules and set up effective data compliance policies. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Develop innovative data management strategies that align with organizational goals. Conduct regular audits of data assets to ensure compliance with established policies.

- Facilitate training sessions for team members on data governance best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data utilization and reporting capabilities.

- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data management processes.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

- Expert proficiency in SAP Data Migration, with hands-on experience leading and executing end-to-end migration projects.

- Advanced proficiency in SAP BO Data Services (BODS) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and related migration tools and methodologies.

- Proven ability to design and implement data management and migration strategies ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance.

- Experience in data governance, quality assurance, and compliance policy enforcement within large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience guiding teams and coordinating across multiple functional areas.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
