What is this challenge about

- Implement and support SAP Treasury and Risk Management solutions, including transaction management and position management.

- Design and configure Treasury products such as Money Market instruments, Foreign Exchange, Securities, and Derivatives.

- Provide expertise in Hedge Management, including expected loss accounting and IFRS 9 Phase 2 Impairment processes.

- Develop and implement new SAP FAM products to support evolving business needs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to back-office operations, especially during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with German GAAP (HGB) and other regulatory frameworks.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with SAP FI and other financial modules.

- Document solutions and maintain system integrity in alignment with industry best practices and audit requirements.

What we are looking for

- +5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Treasury and Financial Asset Management (FAM).

- Strong understanding of financial instruments including derivatives, bonds, securities, and corporate actions.

- Good understanding of IFRS 9 (Impairment Phase 2) and German GAAP (HGB).

- Solid knowledge and working experience with SAP FI.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders and clients effectively.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially during financial closing cycles.

- Fluent level of English.

- Living in Lisbon (hybrid role).
