What is this challenge about
- Lead the design and development of advanced data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage of OSS data (alarms, KPIs, inventory, service quality, etc.).
- Define and evolve the data architecture strategy for real-time and batch analytics in OSS domains, including service assurance, fault management, and performance analytics.
- Act as a technical authority and mentor for junior engineers, guiding them on best practices, data modeling, and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with network engineering, solution architects, and operations teams to identify business-critical use cases and translate them into robust data solutions.
- Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are met across all systems and data flows.
- Design and support visualization solutions and dashboards for operational and executive-level insights.
- Partner with AI/ML teams to enable real-time and batch data streams to feed ML models or train them.
- Serve as a bridge between technical execution and strategic planning, engaging with stakeholders across engineering, IT, and operations.

What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally within telecom or OSS-related domains.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Expert in SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
- Deep understanding of telecom network architecture and OSS systems (e.g., fault/performance management, inventory, NMS).
- Proficient with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP) and big data ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience in architecting and delivering complex data solutions at scale.
- Proficiency in English – written.
