Senior QA Engineer - Fluent in French

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be working for our client in the financial industry. You will play a key role in designing and building automation test frameworks, enhancing CI/CD flows, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions within the settlement and clearing ecosystem. Your main responsibilities:

- Design and develop automation test frameworks to streamline testing processes

- Automate existing manual tests and create new tests adhering to company standards

- Enhance and maintain automated CI flows integrating tools like Jenkins and GIT

- Verify, track, and resolve bugs, ensuring smooth product releases

- Prepare, execute, and report on test cases, managing the defect lifecycle using JIRA

- Collaborate closely with manual testers, developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and automation strategies

You're ideal for this role if you have:

- 2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) within the financial sector or related fields

- Proven expertise with BDD and Gherkin frameworks

- Strong ability to write and automate tests in Java, Python, Groovy, or Ruby

- Experience testing web applications and working with CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, and JIRA tools

- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

- Fluency in English and French

It is a strong plus if you have:

- Experience with CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes

- ISTQB certification

- Solid understanding of financial instruments, settlement processes, and counterparty risk management

- Knowledge of SWIFT standards and the settlement and clearing ecosystem
