Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Role Description

Our client is an international home furnishing retailer with Scandinavian roots that makes it easy to furnish every room in any home and garden.

This role includes support observability and performance monitoring across 40–50 applications, ensuring minimal manual intervention and a strong feedback loop between development and operations. Drive automation and help product teams build reliable, maintainable services. The Site Reliability team is building tools, processes, and communities to make it easy.

Responsibilities:

- Take technical ownership of systems, technology, or application areas, driving solution designs and mentoring colleagues.

- Lead project breakdowns and Agile processes, setting direction and ensuring effective collaboration.

- Maintain continuous personal and professional development, with responsibility for self-improvement and knowledge sharing.

- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.

- Implement monitoring, alerting and logging solutions to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.

- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.

- Implement/integrate new technologies into Cloud Infrastructure

Main Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows/CD, Flux

- Must have proven programming experience in e.g. Java, .NET, Python, or Go

- Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Containers

- Proficiency with Ansible and Tower, Terraform

- Virtual Machines/Linux server experience

- Proficient communication skills in English
