The Role: Backend Software Developer
As a Backend Software Developer at InnovationCast, you'll be a crucial part of a company where the software product is key and valued by leading brands worldwide. Your code will directly help companies innovate using an ever-evolving product that thousands of professionals rely on daily.
What You'll Do
- Write pragmatic, performant, and testable code that powers innovation for global enterprises
- Collaborate with the product owner to elicit and refine requirements
- Design and maintain backend services used by both internal and external customers
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and implementation discussions
- Diagnose and resolve bugs, providing second-level support for customer issues
- Participate in code reviews, product brainstorms, and technical design discussions
- Model scenarios and entities required for use cases, weighing trade-offs between implementations
What We're Looking For

- Experience collaborating with product/design to build polished user-facing products
- Communicate clearly in written English
- Experience developing web applications (preferably >2 years, but competency is what we are looking for)
- Experience developing a SaaS Product is a plus
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience developing the backend for web applications (preferably 2+ years)
- Advanced web development using .NET Core, or ServiceStack
- Proficiency in C# programming
- Experience with both NoSQL document databases and SQL relational databases
- Collaborative mindset and ability to communicate clearly in written English
- Passion for learning and growth
