Job Salary: The amount ranges from €1,751.27 to €1,834.93, depending on the candidate's professional experience (1 year or more).

Job Location: Porto, Portugal.

Job Description:

Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Scientist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in the Connected Things Group (Cyber-Physical Systems), particularly in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. The candidate is expected to contribute to the Digital Health business area.

Your Role:

- Document and maintain software requirements.

- Document, execute, and maintain test cases based on the requirements.

- Develop and maintain user interface tests.

- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Your Profile:

- Required Qualifications:

- Academic Qualifications: Master's degree or equivalent academic qualification in Computer Science, Bioengineering, Computer Engineering or similar.

- Professional Experience: Preferably 1 year of professional experience in the field.

- Technical Skills:

- Candidates should have experience in software engineering and testing. Experience in automated testing for mobile or web applications is highly valued. The candidate will work closely with software development, so experience in this area is highly appreciated.

- Other Skills:

- Excellent communication skills in English (both technical and for general audience).

- Ability to translate research results into actionable insights for real-world applications.

We Value:

- Experience with test management tools, such as TestRail or similar.

- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or similar.

- Candidates with experience in test automation for Flutter and/or Java (Spring Boot) applications using simulation tools like Mockito or similar are highly valued.

- Experience in maintaining or auditing Quality Management Systems according to standards such as ISO 13485:2016 or ISO 9001:2015 is valued.
