Job Title: Network Engineer (Palo Alto)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (3x office days)

Overview / Summary:

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our team for a security technical project. This role will focus on strengthening network defenses, applying leading security practices, and ensuring compliance in complex environments. You should have hands-on experience with advanced security technologies and thrives in dynamic, client-facing settings.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Deliver expert consulting and advisory services on network security solutions.

- Configure, maintain, and support security technologies including firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortigate) and VPNs.

- Implement and optimize tools such as F5 Load Balancers, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and Proxies.

- Recommend and apply security enhancements using vulnerability scanners and email security solutions.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

- +1 year experience working as a Network Engineer, Security Engineer or SOC Analyst.

- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and F5 Load Balancers.

- Experience configuring, maintaining, and securing firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and related systems.

- English minimum B2 level.

Complementary Requirements:

- Experience with Cisco ACI.

- Certifications (Palo Alto, F5, Cisco, etc.)
