Stellantis and UQI Robotics autonomous deliveries Europe: The "Box-on-Wheels" project

Stellantis Pro One and UQI Robotics are teaming up to test autonomous delivery solutions for urban logistics. Their pilot project, called "Box-on-Wheels" (BOW.), combines commercial vehicles, robotics, and artificial intelligence to tackle last-mile distribution challenges.

The collaboration merges UQI Robotics' software and perception systems with Stellantis' commercial vehicle expertise. The electric autonomous vehicle is designed for restricted-access zones, low-emission city areas, and enclosed campuses like factories, hospitals, and airports.

Last-mile delivery automation UQI Robotics Europe: Future outlook

Initial validation testing is currently rolling out across Europe, with public demonstrations underway at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Germany. While a commercial launch date is not yet set, the project aims to optimize fleet integration, support efficient coworking logistics, and create new technical jobs.
