Richemont, the global luxury group behind brands like Cartier, Montblanc, and Van Cleef & Arpels, has officially opened its first tech hub outside Switzerland – right here in Lisbon.
Located at the Green Campus in Parque das Nações, the new Technology Competency Center is a strategic investment in talent and innovation, aiming to hire 400 professionals by 2028. With 100 already on board, the hub is set to become a key extension of the Geneva-based team, supporting Richemont’s global tech needs — from AI and cloud, to business apps and customer-facing platforms.
💡 Why Lisbon?
- Rich tech talent pool
- Strong innovation ecosystem
- Excellent English literacy
- Proven government & community support
- Long-term commitment to sustainable growth
As part of its mission, Richemont will also:
✅ Invest in training and upskilling
✅ Partner with universities, incubators, and startups
✅ Foster a thriving tech community in Portugal
This is more than just growth — it’s a clear signal of confidence in Lisbon as a European innovation powerhouse.
