Reports say Samsung is laying off workers in the US. Some employees were on business trips when they found out, and their company cards were suddenly stopped, leaving them stranded.
It's not clear how many people are being laid off, but people online think it might be connected to Samsung's plan from 2023 to cut staff by up to 30% in some areas.
Many people are upset about workers being let go while they're traveling or on leave. Some have even mentioned similar things happening at other companies. Samsung hasn't said anything about these claims yet.
