Refurbed is celebrating its first year in Portugal and has become profitable in all of its European countries. Started in 2017, the company now runs in 11 different places, including Portugal, which it entered in June 2024. The business has been doing well there.
Refurbed sells devices that have been completely repaired and restored, like phones and computers.
These items are just as good as new ones but cost up to 40% less. They also offer warranties that last up to three years.
The company said that being profitable shows that a circular economy model works and is strong economically.
They believe focusing on recycling and reuse helps build a business that is both strong and sustainable over time.
