In the 2024 edition of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 EMEA, which recognizes the 500 fastest-growing technology companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Portuguese firms have made a remarkable impact.
For the first time in two decades, Portuguese companies claim the top two positions in the ranking covering 30 countries. Leading the list is i-charging, specializing in fast charging solutions for electric vehicles, with an extraordinary growth rate of 65,881%. Coming in second is Bloq.it, which develops intelligent smart locker solutions, boasting a growth of 32,351%.
Overall, 15 Portuguese companies are among the award winners, many focused on software development and environmental technology. Notably, Coverflex, a fintech offering flexible employee compensation solutions, ranks 7th with a growth rate of 10,534%.
Other Portuguese companies featured include Horus Software (1,187%), EFFY (1,138%), genesis.studio (840%), Ztech (672%), EVOX Technologies (490%), Replai (479%), Musiversal (455%), Biometrid (446%), Knok (426%), PICadvanced (395%), Addvolt (381%), and Infraspeak (351%).

This strong showing highlights Portugal’s growing role as a hub of tech innovation and business growth in the EMEA region.
