LTPlabs, a Portuguese management consultancy leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), has unveiled the first edition of its SHAPERS recruitment program. Targeting final-year master’s students and early-career professionals with strong academic records, the initiative aims to train experts capable of bridging AI and business management. The program represents an investment of €500,000 over four months.
SHAPERS offers 30 positions in roles including Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, and ML Engineer. Applications remain open until September 30th and are accessible to motivated students pursuing business-focused dissertations as well as professionals already in the market, regardless of prior AI consulting experience. Selected participants will work on real-world projects from day one, combining technology, data analysis, business strategy, and problem-solving. “We seek individuals who can integrate multidisciplinary perspectives, reflecting innovative approaches to challenges,” says Inês Vasconcelos, HR Director at LTPlabs.
The rigorous selection process includes resume screening, psychometric tests, a case study, and an interview. Induction is scheduled for October, with hybrid work available in Lisbon or Porto. Benefits include an above-average salary package, mentoring, specialized AI training, and skills development aligned with the World Economic Forum’s 2030 framework. SHAPERS also serves as a career accelerator: nearly 95% of LTPlabs leadership followed a similar path, with 60% beginning their careers at the company. Since 2015, LTPlabs has grown its team by an average of 30% annually, executing projects in over 40 countries for major Portuguese companies such as Worten, Sonae MC, Galp, BPI, and Unilever.
