Porto-based consultancy LTPlabs is marking 10 years of helping organizations transform decision-making through analytics, data, and AI. Founded as a spin-off from INESC TEC and the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto, the firm has grown into a 120-strong team working with major clients in Portugal and abroad. According to Bernardo Almada-Lobo, Co-Founder and Partner, LTPlabs was created to close three gaps in the market: businesses stuck in “AI pilot purgatory,” reliance on generic consulting models, and the shortage of hybrid profiles blending data science with business expertise. Today, over 95% of clients return for multiple projects, and in 2024 the company exceeded €10 million in revenue, one year ahead of target. Looking ahead, LTPlabs plans to expand its Analytics-as-a-Service model, integrate Generative AI with analytical solutions, and scale globally with hubs in the UK, Brazil, and the Philippines. “Our mission remains the same: to grow and make others grow through talent that can apply technology in a differentiated way,” Almada-Lobo emphasized.
