Indra Group acquires 100% of deep tech firm Dares Technology

Multinational defense and technology leader Indra Group has officially acquired 100% of Dares Technology, a specialized Spanish deep tech firm.

Based in Castelldefels, Barcelona, and originally incubated by the European Space Agency (ESA BIC), Dares brings elite expertise in high-precision sensors and image processing.

Industry leaders and defense officials frequently analyze cross-border corporate consolidation and technological acquisitions at major international aerospace events.

Synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) and advanced image processing integration

The strategic transaction enables Indra to integrate compact, high-performance synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) technology and advanced software directly into its core operations.

This software enables systems to generate detailed topographic maps, detect minor terrain shifts, and operate continuously regardless of lighting or adverse weather conditions.
