Colliers has shared news about adding WSS Tech to its work in Portugal, which helps strengthen its skills in building designs, architectural planning, and creating better workplaces.
The integration will start during the second quarter of the year. WSS Tech will use the Colliers brand, keep its office in the city center of Lisbon, and continue to have a team of six people.
WSS Tech was started in 2020 by Raquel Arnaut and Rodrigo Canas. They have handled more than 160,000 square meters of building projects for about 100 clients. Their main areas of focus are Design & Build, Workplace Strategy, Work Tech, and technical real estate solutions.
Under the new structure:
- Raquel Arnaut has been appointed as the Director of Architecture and Building Consultancy at Colliers Portugal.
- Rodrigo Canas is now in charge of the Business Development Director position in the same area.
According to Colliers, this move lets the company grow its abilities by mixing local knowledge with its worldwide network. The company plans to grow the team by 70% this year as part of the integration process and their planned hiring efforts.
Mikel Echavarren, President and CEO of Colliers Iberia, said the integration will help start 2026 with rehabilitation projects covering more than 25,000 square meters of office space in Lisbon and supports the goal of tripling revenue in Portugal within three years.
Since starting in the Portuguese market in 2022, Colliers has grown to offer more than just transaction services. They now also provide capital markets, financing, valuations, agency services, and asset repositioning. Now, they're focusing even more on architecture and workplace transformation as part of their plan for growth.
