Canadian Banyan Acquires Portuguese Hotel Tech Firm Host Hotel Systems

Canadian Banyan Software has bought Host Hotel Systems, a Portuguese company that makes software for the hotel business. Host Hotel Systems was started in 1994 in Torres Vedras by Pierre Santos and has 110 employees. Over the past 30 years, it has built a solid reputation in the industry.

Pierre Santos will still be in charge of the company after the acquisition.

Now that Host Hotel Systems is part of Banyan, it plans to grow its presence internationally, with Spain and the UK as key targets.

This deal helps Banyan add to its range of products and supports Host Hotel Systems in becoming a major player in hotel technology worldwide.

With more resources and support, the company can expand its operations beyond Portugal.
