British Arrow Group has bought Transfor, a Portuguese construction company. Transfor makes around €80 million a year and has about 360 workers. The deal was led by Restart Capital, which is part of the Arrow Group, and it's meant to help Transfor grow bigger, increase its building capacity, and reach more markets.
Transfor was started in 2000 in Fátima and now has its main office in Lisbon.
It has a total of €350 million worth of projects planned and has expanded to the Algarve region. Tiago Marto, the CEO of Transfor, said the new partnership gives them more money and better operations to handle more business while still keeping high standards and creativity.
Paulo Barradas, the CEO of Restart Capital, said the goal is to make construction more efficient and focus on high-quality projects.
This purchase is a big step forward for Transfor and could lead to expanding into new areas in the future.
