Twenty top students from Piauí, Brazil, between the ages of 16 and 18, are traveling to Lisbon for a special tech and creativity experience at TUMO Portugal from August 11 to September 5.
They were chosen from over 9,000 applicants through the Seduckathon competition. During their time there, they’ll work on real projects in areas like graphic design, robotics, game making, coding, and photography.
The program also includes workshops with Portuguese startups, discussions on innovation, and visits to cultural sites in Lisbon, Sintra, and Cascais.
This program is a joint effort between Piauí’s education department and Portuguese organizations, and it started at the Web Summit 2024 event. For the students, this is more than just a trip—it’s a chance to learn new skills, gain global insight, and make lasting friendships. The Piauí government is covering all the costs.
