The capital injection funds two new production buildings, more assembly lines, and a specialized acoustic laboratory to test operational sound levels and refine thermal performance. This multi-year expansion creates 400 specialized positions across engineering, research, and technical operations.
European Market Position
Aveiro operates as a key node in Bosch's European thermal network alongside facilities in Tranås, Sweden, and Eibelshausen, Germany. The Portuguese site produces outdoor and wall-mounted indoor units for eco-friendly propane heat pumps to meet rising demand for sustainable climate technology across Europe.
