What will your main responsibilities be:
- Develop and design analog, digital, and power electronic circuits;
- Create electrical schematics and monitor PCB development in collaboration with PCB designers;
- Select electronic components, ensuring availability, cost, and performance;
- Perform circuit simulations, analyses, and calculations;
- Define hardware architectures according to functional and technical requirements;
- Support prototyping, assembly, and hardware validation;
- Conduct electrical, functional, and compliance testing;
- Analyze failures and implement corrective actions;
- Ensure compliance with standards and certifications (CE, EMC, electrical safety, RoHS, etc.);
- Produce and maintain technical documentation (schematics, BOM, specifications, test reports);
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Firmware, Mechanics, Propulsion, Production, Quality);
- Support the transition from development to production;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and technical solutions;
Profile and requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masterâs degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive, or similar;
- Experience in electronic hardware development;
- Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics;
- Experience with electronic CAD tools (Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, Eagle, etc.);
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing;
- Knowledge of power supplies, communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, etc.);
- Knowledge of programming in C/C++ (other languages will be valued);
- Experience with testing and instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters);
- Knowledge of standards and best practices in electronic design;
- Basic knowledge of DFM, DFA, and industrialization;
- Language requirements: proven C2 level proficiency in Portuguese and proven B2 level proficiency in English;
- Availability to work on-site in Caldas da Rainha or Lisbon;
- Team spirit and good integration skills;
- High sense of responsibility, organization, task planning, and deadline management.
