IT Platform Engineer - Hybrid

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

IT Platform Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, hybrid cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and platform modernization, to join the global Corporate Design & Development team.

The main focus will be to build, maintain, and evolve a highly automated cloud environment, supported by DevOps practices and platform engineering.

This will be an integrated role within multidisciplinary teams (infra, service delivery, analytics, and integration), contributing to the innovation, digitalization, and security of the IT ecosystem.

Main Responsibilities:

• Platform Engineering
• Design, develop, and operate robust infrastructure solutions, particularly in AWS and Nutanix, ensuring availability, scalability, and security.
• Automation and Scripting
• Create and maintain automations using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible/Rundeck, including REST API development and automated workflows for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Use frameworks like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to standardize and automate the creation of cloud and hybrid environments.
• Infrastructure Optimization
• Modernize legacy systems for cloud environments, optimizing performance, costs, and operational reliability.
• Collaborative Work
• Collaborate with service delivery, data analytics, integration, and architects to ensure a coherent and secure ecosystem.
• Documentation & Best Practices
• Create technical documentation, operational standards, and guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance across the infrastructure landscape.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years as a Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer, or DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on scripting and automation;
• Proven experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK);
• Experience in hybrid cloud and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ECS, ELB, Lambda, etc.);
• Relevant experience with Nutanix is a strong differentiator;
• Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or similar field.

Technical Skills:

• Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, or Rundeck;
• CI/CD and pipelines: knowledge of Git and DevOps practices;
• Containerization (desirable): Docker, Kubernetes;
• Linux Administration (plus).

Soft Skills:

• Self-sufficient, curious, and innovation-oriented profile.
• Ability to solve complex problems in global environments.
• Adaptability to new technologies and emerging scenarios.

Work regime: hybrid, Lisbon, Coimbra or Castelo Branco
