Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join our teams on a strategic project focused on modernizing a central vehicle inspection platform. This initiative involves the design and evolution of a modern architecture based on microservices, with a strong emphasis on system integration, real-time processing, scalability, and resilience.
You will play an active role in technical decision-making, architectural discussions, and technical guidance, contributing to the development of a robust and future-ready platform.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core / .NET 6+;
- Contribute to the definition, evolution, and governance of a microservices architecture and distributed systems;
- Design, implement and maintain RESTful APIs;
- Integrate with multiple internal and external systems, ensuring reliability and consistency;
- Ensure high levels of performance, scalability, and resilience across all services;
- Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams;
- Promote and apply best practices, such as Clean Code, SOLID principles, and automated testing;
- Act as a technical reference, providing mentorship and technical guidance to other team members.
Who you are:
- Academic background in Computer Engineering or similar;
- Highly proficient in backend development .NET Core / .NET 6+;
- Experience in designing and working with distributed system architectures and microservices;
- Comfortable building and consuming REST APIs;
- Proficiency in SQL and/or NoSQL databases;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows;
- Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure;
- Strong advocate for software engineering best practices (SOLID, Clean Code, testing);
- Valuable experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus);
- Knowledge of caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and observability (logs, metrics);
- Comfortable working in complex, large-scale environments, and making sound technical decisions.
